To live a bush experience, but with all the comfort possible in the famous Serengeti Park in the endless plains of Tanzania, do not hesitate for a second to book one or more nights in the mobile camp Kati Kati Tented Camp...
Here you are in the middle of the bush... In a mobile camp that follows the great migration. Here is the place for nature and the bush experience but with a certain comfort. The tents are equipped with a double bed, "normal" toilets and a bush shower (the little extra fun!). Order your shower by 6:30 am... When you wake up, wait patiently under the warm comforter (yes, the nights can be quite cool) for a Masai to bring you a 20L bag of hot water that he will hoist over your shower outside the tent. The shower is ready when he shouts through the tent "THE SHOWER IS READY"... a great moment!
After a day full of beautiful memories, in the evening, at sunset on the savannah, we take the aperitif around a campfire... AKUNA MATATA! A good cold "Safari" beer and some peanuts and here we are exchanging our discoveries of the day with the other travelers: lioness chasing a baby zebra, herd of wildebeest in migration, warthogs rolling in the mud, leopard alone in a tree... the dinner is then served in the main tent in the form of a buffet with appetizers, salads, main courses and desserts (don't forget that we are in the middle of nowhere) in the company of our guide.
At nightfall, the massaïs take us back to our tent... (security obliges... you would not want to be the evening meal of a lioness who passes by) then once well installed in the bed... there is nothing more to do than to listen to the sounds of the savannah: the laughter of the hyenas, the giraffes which eat the acacias just beside, zebras which pass...
